About Dr Erkan Demirsoy

Dr Erkan Demirsoy is one of the well-known hair transplant doctors in Turkey. After graduating from the faculty of medicine he showed interest in hair transplant surgeries. That’s when he started performing hair surgeries at a private clinic in the year 2000.

Four years later, in 2004, he opened his own clinic (ARMAMED) in Istanbul.

Dr Erkan Demirsoy is a member of the ISHRS since 2003 and a member of the Turkish Doctors’ Union (TTB).

When he first started performing hair transplants, he used the FUT technique. Then in 2005 he adopted the latest and most effective hair transplant technique the FUE.

Hair transplant surgeries at ARMAMED are performed by Dr Erkan. He personally draws the hairline, extracts the grafts and opens the incisions. He extracts the grafts using either manual punch or motorized punch known as the micromotor.
