Dr Koray Erdogan – ASMED Clinic

ASMED – Dr. Koray Erdogan, a name that has been associated with hair transplant in Turkey and on a global level. He is a very well-known and famous hair transplant doctor who combines science and mathematical approaches with artistry in planning hair transplants for his patients.

He graduated from Hacattepe University with a medical degree. In 2001, he founded his own hair transplant clinic (ASMED) in Istanbul where he works with other 6 physicians.

Dr Koray is also the founder of World FUE Institute (WFI) along with Dr. Ron Shapiro, Dr. Jose Lorenzo, Dr. Jerry Wong, Dr. Hussain Rahal and Dr. Bijan Feriduni. In 2018, he was appointed as the president of the WFI.

What distinguishes Dr Koray is his passion and unparalleled planning and implementation of hair transplants. This led him to developed state-of-the-art techniques and systems to ensure precision and high quality.

He invented his own graft implanter called the K.E.E.P (Koray Erdogan Embedding Placer) to avoid potential damage associated with pre-made incisions.

At ASMED all technicians and assistants receive a training on what is called the KE-Head which is a model that resembles the scalp properties. This way technicians receive hands-on training before working on live patients.
